Map of Berlin

This map of Berlin shows all the boroughs and all the subdivisions or as the Germans call them Ortsteile. It is not intended to be a detailed map of the streets of the Berlin but just to show you how the city ties together. In today’s day an age of GPS units and sat nav like the Garmins, Tom Tom and Magellan. It is easy to forget that good old fashioned paper maps have a place. When travelling in a new country/city it is always a good thing to have a backup plan. I will personally have 2 backup plans.  When travelling to a complicated city like Berlin I always have my personal gps unit, my phone has a bookmark of mapofeurope.com and I will have a paper map just incase all my devices lose power.

travelling to a new city can be fun but you should have some sort of a map of Berlin handy at all time. There is no worse way to spoil a trip than to get lost and lose a day that you could spend site seeing.
